What is a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject.

About Ephemeral

Ephemeral has been open since April 28th, 2009 and approved by The Fanlistings Network on April . Ever since I got into fanlistings and all, I think this is the first fanlisting I looked for and wished to own.  I think it’s normal for people, especially those of us who are into anime, manga, and Japan of course to be fascinated with Cherry Blossoms, but my love for them goes a little beyond that.

I haven’t had the pleasure to witness them first hand just yet, but it’s one of the things I tell myself I must do before I die. To feel their fragrance, those tiny petals fall around me and feel them as they are carried by the wind, that’s something I have set myself to experience no matter what.

Cherry Blossoms are by far one of the most beautiful, graceful and representative flowers. They’re very simple flowers actually, but it’s amazing how something so small can call upon such magnificence. They can show a whole range of emotions and is of course why so many have used them in paintings, songs, pictures, stories, movies, anime, manga, you name it.  

They can make you feel loneliness, melancholy, love, happiness, peace, resolve; there’s no limit to what their beauty can inspire. One flower, one petal even can make all these feelings come out, but when more than one petal gathers, it’s absolutely magical; it’s something of absolute and indescribable beauty.  The cherry blossom is indeed a powerful symbol.
